Just a reminder.....

📢This morning, in collaboration with the Bladen County Sheriff's Office, our school participated in a lockdown drill.
‼️There was NO emergency. This drill allowed us to practice our lockdown procedures. Again, there was no emergency situation—all students and staff are safe, and the day is proceeding as scheduled.
📞If you have any questions please call the school office.

Today, our students and staff participated in a practice lockdown drill. These safety drills help us ensure that everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency. We take safety very seriously at EPS and appreciate everyone’s cooperation and calm participation today. 💙
Our students took the lead during Student-Led Conferences this week! 💬✨ They shared their progress, goals, and achievements with pride, showing how much they’ve grown as learners and leaders. We’re so proud of their confidence and communication skills! 🌟 #LearnersToLeaders #StudentLedConferences #EPSPride

Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪✨ Our students put their collaboration and problem-solving skills to the test as they worked together to build the tallest tower using interlocking cubes. So much learning and laughter in one activity! 🧱🏗️ #Teamwork #STEMinAction #EPSLearnersToLeaders

Our young scientists had a sweet time learning about States of Matter today! 🍨
Students explored how a liquid can change into a solid by making ice cream in a bag. They mixed, measured, and shook up their ingredients while discovering the science behind freezing and melting.
Hands-on experiments like this make learning science fun, memorable, and delicious! 🧊✨

Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind! 🌟
Our students practiced making a plan with the end in mind during this week’s Leader in Me activity! Each group brainstormed ideas for a trip — from the beach to the city — and created posters showing what they would need to prepare and succeed.
By thinking ahead and setting goals, our students are learning that great leaders start with a plan and work together to make it happen! 💪✏️
