Poster Contest – Show Us Why Showing Up Counts!

📅 Deadline: September 29, 2025

✅ Open to all students!
✅ Create a powerful poster that shows why attending school every day matters.
✅ Be creative, bold, and inspiring!

🏆 Grade Level Winners will receive prizes and have their artwork displayed at school and on our EPS Facebook Page.

Poster Guidelines:

Must include the message: "School Attendance Matters"

Size: 8.5" x 11" (standard paper)

Hand-drawn using crayons, colored pencils, or markers with drawings, words, or cut-outs.

Submit to your homeroom teacher or the front office by the deadline. Put your full name, grade, and teacher's name on the back of the poster.

Our kindergarteners had so much fun learning about feelings today! 💕 Using Play-Doh and crayons, they created faces to show different emotions. This hands-on activity helped them explore how we express our feelings and recognize them in others. We love seeing their creativity shine! 🌟😊

Elizabethtown Primary School is asking for your feedback on our School Improvement Plan (SIP)!

Bladen County Schools is using the Indistar and NCStar platforms to create and monitor School Improvement Plans (SIPs). The SIP specifically addresses how our school will improve both the school performance grade and school growth score. The school improvement process is continuous and information in NCStar is updated regularly.

“After two weeks of learning different nursery rhymes, our students chose their favorite and drew a picture to represent it! Each child proudly explained their drawing, identified the main characters, and shared key details from the rhyme. ❤️ Yesterday our kindergarteners learned about September 11th in a way that was just right for their age. We talked about the importance of helpers, showing kindness, and taking care of one another when times are hard. Students shared ideas about how they can be helpers in their own school and community every day. 🌟
