🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣 Making Our Mark on International Dot Day! Ms. Clegg’s and Mrs. Cromartie’s classes celebrated International Dot Day with a colorful activity inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds! 🎨 Students explored the message of believing in yourself, trying even when you’re unsure, and never giving up. Just like in the story, they started with a simple dot and used their creativity to see where it would take them! Every creation was different—a perfect reminder that we all have our own unique mark to make on the world! ❤️ “Make a mark and see where it takes you!” 🌎✨

🔎📚 Our Library Detectives are back on the case!

Even our older students had a great time investigating the library “crime scenes!” They carefully examined each scene, recorded the clues and evidence, and then put their detective skills to work by INFERRING what had happened. 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

It was a fun, hands-on way to practice an important reading skill while also reinforcing how to properly care for our library books. The evidence doesn’t lie! 🔍📖💛

Our first graders put on their detective hats and investigated some very important cases—damaged library books! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

Students examined each “crime scene,” searched for clues and evidence, and figured out what might have happened to each book. Along the way, they learned important ways to care for library books and keep them safe for everyone to enjoy. 📖❤️

🎉 Celebrating Our Progress at Elizabethtown Primary! 🐬💙

We are so proud of the progress our students and staff made during the 2025–2026 school year! EPS met growth, with overall school growth increasing from 75.3% to 82.1%. Overall performance and achievement also improved, with especially strong gains in reading and our EDS subgroup. While we still have work ahead, these results show that we are moving in the right direction. Thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, students, and families for your hard work and continued support. Together, we are growing, achieving, and moving forward! 🌟📚
