Good afternoon, parents and guardians!

Due to the unavailability of a substitute bus driver, Bus 69 will NOT run this afternoon (Monday, October 12).

Parents and guardians of students who ride Bus 69 will need to make arrangements to pick up their children from school this afternoon.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work through this situation.

Our students have officially joined the READMarathon through Read With Malcolm!

This exciting 26.2-day reading challenge encourages students to build their reading stamina, develop a love for books, and work toward completing a FULL reading marathon—1,600 minutes of reading! 📚🏅

We've already started strong! Our students are decorating their READMarathon bibs, diving into great books, and getting ready to rack up those reading minutes!

Every page counts, every minute matters, and every reader is a winner! 💙🐬

🎃🔢 Counting Our Way to a Jack-o'-Lantern! 🔢🎃
Our students have been busy practicing their number skills by putting together a hundreds chart! They worked together to identify numbers, find where they belong, and fill in the missing spaces.
But there's a fun surprise waiting! As we continue filling in our chart, a jack-o'-lantern will begin to appear! 🎃

📚🌾 Building a Story—One Piece at a Time!


After reading The Scarecrow by Beth Ferry, we talked about the important elements of the story and what made it so special. Then Mrs. Long gave each student one piece of a giant puzzle to color. 🖍️
Everyone worked on their own individual piece, but the real magic happened when we brought them all together! Piece by piece, our individual artwork became one amazing scarecrow! ❤️
Such a fun way to combine literacy, creativity, teamwork, and a little bit of mystery—because no one knew exactly what our finished picture would look like until the very end! 🌾🧩📖
